Sue Casson's moving song cycle Dreams of Peace & Freedom, is at the heart of THE HUMAN'S IN THE TELLING

a performance, recording, film and book telling, of a family story that looks towards the twin anniversaries of

the Nuremberg War Crimes Trials (75 years) and the European Convention on Human Rights (70 years) which coincide in 2020,

Since the beginning of the year, English Cabaret have been out on the road filming in Scotland, England and Germany.

They have also been in the studio, recording Dreams of Peace & Freedom, which will form part of a podcast that tells the story of David Maxwell Fyfe's journey from Nuremberg (where he was a chief prosecutor)

to Strasbourg (where he took part in the drafting of the European Convention on Human Rights.)
